Battery Evaluation PCBA (EVAL007A)

The EVAL007A is the ideal accessory for engineers conducting bench testing on the Accutronics CMX series of Lithium Ion Smart batteries.   Dual red and black 4mm sockets allow easy connection to battery power positive and negative while additional large solder pads on the PCB allow for direct wired connections to the battery power terminals, clock, data, battery present and thermistor.   A Molex header connector and umbilical lead (supplied) allows easy connection to a Texas Instruments EV2300 Evaluation Module so that battery data can be monitored during testing. You can purchase an EV2300 from Accutronics by order part number EVAL009.   An on board DIL switch allows the 'battery present' pin on the battery to be toggled, so the battery output can be turned on or off. An on board LED and constant current driver circuitry allows visual indication that the battery output is enabled.   Note that this part is not compatible with Inspired Energy P-Series batteries.
